Check out the attached video for an idea of the look, functionality, features and comfort of the black faux leather recliner!
+ Sleek, contemporary look
+ Very comfortable cushioning: Soft and absorbent without being a "deep-sitting" or plush recliner
+ Looks and feels exactly like leather
+ Easy to recline
+ You can recline to nearly a flat positioning if you want
+ Pocket on the right side for controllers or magazines
+ Little effort needed to get in and out of the chair (possibly a consideration for senior citizens or those with injuries)
+ There are no buttons or knobs
- Must be at least 17 inches from the wall if you want to fully recline (might be best suited away from the wall)
- The arm rests are a little low when leaning back completely
I'm an average size guy at 5'10" and 175 lbs. If you are on the larger size, you might want to take a look at the dimensions to see if it would work for you. For those tall people (I'd guess that if you are over 6'2" or so) you might prefer a taller chair height.
Overall, I'm quite impressed by the quality of this chair at the price it goes for. I bought this chair to lounge in my daughter's room when she's sick or restless. However, I liked it enough to use it in my living room. The faux leather looks like the real thing. The cushioning is supportive without being too soft. That also makes it easy to rise up from the chair. The only thing I wish was different was the back of the armrest was a touch higher for when I'm fully reclined...not a big deal though. Please consider that it will need at least 17 inches if used up against a wall. If I didn't cover anything you're interesting in knowing or I can answer any questions, please drop a line below and I'd be happy to to get back with you!
