WHAT IS INCLUDED?
2 8-oz Candles (your choice of scents) with a little trinket, a wick dipper, and some instructions
DESCRIBE THE FRAGRANCE:
I picked the Champagne Apple and Mimosa fragrances. Each smells really good. I would described the scent as light to medium in strength.
Mimosa - the flavor is exactly as you would think. It's a light, fruity scent with hints of orange, citrus, tropical and cantelope-y like smell. Of the two, this one is my favorite. It reminds me of the honeymoon my wife and I took. We were handed Mimosas right when we showed up. Not a bad reminder :)
Champagne Apple - the scent smells like green apples. I can't really smell anything else, champagne or otherwise.
DOES THE CANDLE LAST NEARLY 100 HOURS?
I haven't counted the number of hours that the candle lasts, but I know it lasts a long time. I documented the first couple hours of use (see the pictures). The drop in the wax line is barely noticeable during that time frame. I have used it quite a few times since then and it is not yet gone.
WICK DIPPER:
I hadn't ever used a wick dipper before. However, I will certainly be using one (assuming I have one readily available) in the future. There is virtually no smoke from the wick after extinguishing the candle. The wick dipper is a nice bonus!
WHO IS THIS CANDLE BEST SUITED FOR?
I think anyone looking for a nice set of smaller candles (8 oz) would really enjoy this. These candles are American-made, which is really gaining steam these days (thankfully). These candles would also be a great for those looking for a gift or gift set. The jars are "cute" as my wife says and give the impression that they are a homemade, but nicely crafted, candle.
WHO IS THIS CANDLE NOT A GOOD FIT FOR?
I think anyone looking for an organic candle would be better suited for a soy or beeswax candle. Also, these candles are a strong, powerful scent. They are more light to medium in strength. If you want a candle to fill your entire home (if those exist), these might not be the right candle for you.
CONCLUSION:
Overall, I am very pleased with these candles. The Mimosa is a wonderful scent. It reminds me of tropical paradise and beaches. The champagne apple is nice as well. It would be a good Fall candle.
