Mellanni Goose Down Alternative Comforter

ABOUT THIS COMFORTER:
This comforter is soft and warm. It has slots in the corners that you can either button or tie a duvet cover. It is machine washable (gentle cycle on cold) and can be machine dried on low (though it will probably take 2 regular cycles to do.

UNBOXING:
After receiving my comforter, I unrolled it on the bed. It fit my King size bed well with sufficient slack on the sides and bottom. However, after unrolling it, I noticed that my comforter had two red lines on it. They were thin and small, but it was quite unusual. I knew I was going to wash it to begin with, so I thought maybe that would take it out. Machine washing didn't remove the thin red lines, but they aren't very noticeable. Plus, I plan to put a duvet cover on it in the future.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT SUITED FOR?
I think this comforter is best suited for cold weather. It is quite warm. It isn't jam packed with goose down, but it isn't light on them either. I would say it's medium in weight and warmth. I think it would be too hot in the warmer climates. This comforter is nice for those that wish to machine wash and dry their comforter.

WHO IS THIS NOT A FIT FOR?
Someone looking for a comforter filled to the brim with goose down (i.e. an extremely warm comforter) or someone looking for luxury hotel quality (though this is still a good quality). I was a little let down when I saw it had a couple small red lines. That should have been caught in Quality Control. Having said that, it still functions well.

CONCLUSION:
This comforter is soft and very warm. It is very similar in quality and appearance to some other comforters I have purchased and/or used. It has tie loops for a duvet (see picture) and it's machine washable. Overall, I am satisfied.
