60-PIECE CONTAINER CONTENTS (with a lid for each):
• Five 0.5-cup
• Five 1.25-cup
• Five 2-cup
• Five 3-cup
• Four 5-cup
• Three 7-cup
• Two 9-cup, and
• One 14-cup containers
PROS:
+ Containers nestle saving a lot of space
+ Lids connect, so there aren't lids falling all over the place when a cabinet is opened
+ Clear containers to see what's inside
+ A wide variety of containers
+ Multi-use lids fit multiple containers (except the smallest 0.5 cup container lid)
+ Durable containers and lids last a long time
CONS:
- It would be sweet to get a couple of the 14-cup sizes (or larger) but it's hard to argue with what you get for the price (shop the larger sized containers and you'll see).
- Must air dry lids to let water on the interior of the lid lip evaporate (despite this, they're much easier to dry than same other Tupperware containers).
- Over a period of time, depending on use, the containers will turn a tad cloudy if you dishwash them a bunch (doesn't bother me but it might bother some)
- Tomato-based sauces MAY stain containers, particularly if they are hot when placed in container.
REVIEW:
I shopped a wide variety of containers, and I keep coming back to these over the years. Forget the thin plastic containers with cheap lids if you are considering those. I am OCD about Tupperware storing neatly and with Tupperware that dries easy enough out of the dishwasher or after hand washing. These nestle easy and the lids are somewhat interchangeable (see attached video). These aren't perfect about drying, but they are easier/quicker than other sets I've seen. These containers are durable. They'll make it through the dishwasher (at least my dishwasher) on the low shelf, but to last longer they should go on the top shelf away from the heating element. Also, be careful about putting hot, acidic liquids like tomato sauces if you want your containers pristine. Besides that, it's hard to go wrong with these!
