YUEBO Game Camera (12MP/1080P)

TRIGGER TIME:
o Approximately 0.8 second trigger time for pictures and 2.3 seconds for video

PROS:

+ Detection range of 75 feet is good (many are around 45 feet)
+ Decent picture trigger times.

+ Day and night pictures and videos are nice quality
+ Picture/video illumination is good
+ Video with audio
+ Photo bursts from 1 to 3 pictures at a time
+ Security password (optional)
+ LCD screen to view pictures without inserting SD card in your computer or hooking up with a USB cord

CONS:
- Slow recovery time for videos
- Slow video trigger speed of about 2.3 seconds
- The security strap is not a good opti
on. Most cameras have a strap with a buckle or a mounting system included.
- No security box available for sale to physically secure the camera

OTHER NOTES:

o It takes 8 AA batteries
o All trail cameras exaggerate their megapixels. Some state that they are 12 MP cameras, but that's misleading. These cameras interpolate pixels, but it doesn't add any quality or focus to the picture. It's essentially a marketing gimmick. This camera is a true 5 MP camera (like many others).

WHO IS THIS CAMERA MEANT FOR?

This camera is best suited for those that want a relatively inexpensive trail camera that takes quality pictures/videos, has the  an LCD screen, but doesn't mind slower video trigger speeds.

WHO IS THIS CAMERA NOT MEANT FOR?

This camera is not a good fit for those that want a trail camera with fast trigger speeds and fast recovery times. Also this camera comes with a strap that can only be removed by cutting it. Many hunters want to switch cameras from one location to another and many homeowners want a mount that allows them to screw it into a piece of wood (a deck or eave for instance). This camera limits where and how often it can be mounted.

CONCLUSION:

Nearly every trail camera, no matter the price, has some benefits and drawbacks. Some are better and quicker at photos, some at videos, some better night quality, etc. This camera is a bit over $100 at the moment. This camera does a respectable job at taking pictures and videos, particularly given the price. Like anything else, if you are willing to spend a little more, you will get a faster trigger times and a touch better quality. However, the LCD screen is a big time saver for me and many others. It's hard to find really nice cameras with an LCD screen in this price range. Hopefully, this review enabled you to identify if this camera is the right fit for you! If you have questions, leave them below and I'd be happy to answer the as quick as I can.
