FEATURES:
Mode Button - 1) Press and hold to change weigh measurement (Jin, Kg, Lb). 2) Press once to "Hold", or freeze, the scale reading
On/Off Button - Self-explanatory and does what you'd expect. Auto turn-off after 120 seconds of inactivity
Tare Button - 1) Press and hold to button to store weight. "L-On" means the weight, upon stablization, will "Hold" automatically. "L-Off" means the date will not hold automatically. 2) Press once to "zero" the scale
REVIEW:
The first thing I wanted to do when I got this scale was to test it for accuracy. I used dumbbells, which of course have a known and accurate weight, inside of a luggage bag to test the scale readings. I found that the weights were within a reasonable tolerance of +/- 0.4 lbs. Here are the results:

With a max load of 660 lbs, this is a mid-weight scale. It might be a bit of overkill for luggage...unless you pack like my wife :). In all seriousness, you could probably get by with a smaller scale for luggage if you want. With that said, this scale will weigh luggage accurately. It might be a bit inconvenient since there is no handle, however. I use this scale to weigh newborn calves and especially for weighing deer. For those purposes, I am pleased with the performance. I suppose this scale will weigh something over a pound, but I recommend weighing items between 2 lbs and up to near the max capacity of 660 lbs. Overall, I'm pleased!
