AOOU Spring Bed Pillow

           

OVERVIEW:
I ordered this pillow, because most of my pillows lost their cushion over time and the other memory foam pillows I had were quite hard. I like that the pillow doesn't collapse like some soft pillows, but it's not so hard that it hurts when sleeping on your side or back. This pillow is said to have "springs". To me, it feels like a thin gel layer inside that provides the pillow a bit of structure or rigidity. I am a stomach sleeper, but occasionally switch to sleep on my side and back. I like this pillow for side and back sleeping, but desire a longer pillow for stomach sleeping (I basically sleep with my head and chest on top of the pillow)


QUESTIONS I HAD BEFORE ORDERING THIS PILLOW:

Firmness: Somewhere between medium and firm

Washable? Yes, in cold water

Material: 100% polyester (plus the spring material). To me it feels like a soft, microfiber top and bottom.

Suitable for those that sleep on their back? Yes, if you like pillows that are a bit more firmness than a soft pillow

Suitable for those that sleep on their side? Yes, for most people. If you have broad shoulders or are a large individual, you might need a bit thicker pillow. If you are extremely small or petite, you might need a thinner pillow.

Suitable for stomach sleepers? Yes and no. It will work, but I would recommend either a longer pillow or a thinner pillow if you like a medium-firm pillow.

What size pillow case? Pillow size is 25" x 15" x 6". I recommend a queen size pillow case. I’ve put it in a standard and a queen pillow case. It technically fits in both, but it’s a better fit for a queen size pillow case (the end of the pillow isn’t visible).

CONCLUSION:
In my opinion, the pillow has the appropriate firmness and thickness for sleeping on your back and side. I'd prefer a slightly longer pillow for sleeping on my stomach though. Please feel free to leave a comment or question below and I'll do my best to answer or respond timely.
